I intend modifying a 5 m wide x 7 m long x 4,5 m high room for HT purposes. The speakers will be on the 5 m side. The current ceiling is a plastered rhinoboard job suspended from a concrete slab (main bedroom above this room). The gap to the slab is not known at present. Would it be worthwhile installing a sloping ceiling to help with first reflection points? Angle? Sloping upwards from the speakers? I do not want too huge an angle, not everybody will appreciate it.
