Database errors
« on: April 14, 2014, 01:56:10 PM »
Hi all,

DB errors should be gone *hold thumbs*. It seems like a number of members were receiving errors like this:

Quote
Problem with smf_log_topics' is marked as crashed

I ran a manual repair on the MySQL table store, which seemed to go ok. No idea what caused this - the repair utility didn't even report any problems. Please keep the reports coming *IF* you see strange behaviour again. I'm not able to attend instantly but at least it helps me to know if things are not fully resolved  :Ooooooh:

Thanks for fixing it.  I trust your back-ups are current.  Backups, what's that say (most of) my customers?
Even duct tape can’t fix stupid… but it can muffle the sound

Indeed they are, or at least so says the ISP ;) Mind you, I've never actually restored anything so they don't really count as backups...
