OK, I have a pair of speakers built by a friend consisting of Scanspeak tweeter (the wet sticky one) and 7" polyglass Focal mid/bass. All of this is housed in an old pair of Arcam Alpha boxes that was ported by Francois. I dont have a clue about crossovers so dont ask.
I would love to build a pair of floorstanders using these drivers and maybe add a Seas bass unit(It is the rainbow nation so why not use scan, focal and Seas). I know this is very limited info but my music taste is mostly female vocal but I love a low tight bass.
What will my starting point be to design a cabinet and a crossover. BTW I have a secret love for TL speakers. I want to build these speakers using my deadwood sandwich as used in my HiFi stands.
