Hi guys and girls,
Please help. I am wanting to buy a Full HD video camera for wedding and other videography work. I intend using blu-ray as the medium for distribution.
I have read that for true FHD, blu-ray only accepts 1080/24p, which seems to be an American frame-rate to achieve the coveted "film look". All of the cameras I have seen for sale in SA, do 25p and not 24p, which some people say will prevent you from making a FHD disc.
Is this just a regional thing or do I have to find a camera from the US for 1080/24p? I don't like the idea of having to lower the resolution/double the frame rate or changing the footage to interlaced.
I do editing in Adobe Premiere Pro/Elements and Adobe After Effects.
Thanks!
