Yet Another *What Headphones to get* Thread, perhaps with a twist.

Hmm, Im looking to get a new pair of headphones in the R1300-R1600 range [probably cheaper to import than get locally]. I have until now had a bunch of useless headphones, a Logitech pair, a Jensen pair, and the best was a retro pair of I think Philips [they looked like 40kgs but felt awesome].

I definitely want a wired pair [I have a nice pair of wireless Sonys], primarily for gaming [dont need a mic, have one already] and music [almost all non-rap, so amazing bass (as on the Bose Creative Suite or whatever) is not really needed]. I have listened to a variety of Sennheisers over the last few months, making me veer towards the HD 555s, although I know the SteelSeries headphones are also lank nice.

Any ideas?
