This was Great fun....We should do it again :dop:

Many thanks to Chris and Jozua for the invite. It was a real privilege to meet some of the members for the first time and to put names and faces together. A special thanks to Andrew our host, for the venue and accommodating me getting in early to do the setup.

And for those who stayed behind to help me pack and load....much appreciated gents....I am in debt to you all :2thumbs:

@Gerlach I have a pair of Maggie LRS’s with your name on 🤣😊😉

I was impressed by:

1. How the system just got more transparent as the evening progressed;
2. The Lp's sounded fantastic - and I am not even a LP enthusiast !!
3. The sound quality of Plinius equipment is much better than I realized and;
4 The relaxed presentation. Everyone just sat back and enjoyed the music.

Apologies to those who missed out on the eats and treats- we totally underestimated the turnout !

Many thanks BJ- as always- your attention to detail was outstanding.

Much appreciated.

I concur with the comments above! a well attended meeting and a good presentation, what a pleasure to listen to exceptional vinyl.

Thanks to Ben for hauling a truckload of gear, and nice to meet you too, for the first time!

A track on this album, entitled "Motodrum-Crash-Cabriolet-Carambolage" by drummer Charly Antolini was one of the more revealing of the overall system's capabilities.  Some amazing drumming by this gentleman.  This was recently re-released on 180 gm vinyl
