A successful meeting and a very warm welcome from Hein Vercueil at his well-stocked shop in Bellville.   Hein told us about a batch of new vinyl on its way from England, these will be sold locally for £17.50 and will arrive early next week

The emphasis today is on streaming and there are numerous products available, example:  SONOS Audio, which provide an excellent experience and can be managed from your smartphone of tablet

There were some new turntables on show, notably one from Cambridge Audio (see the second picture) which produced a clarity of sound seldom heard before

All you need is deep pockets and the willingness to say "I'll take it"

Hein's prices are very keen, and the LPs (called Vinyl today) arrives this week

Great pictures Chris. Would be nice to put some names to faces - the only person I recognise is Bryson de Chambeau on the TV behind the red speakers. Also some impressions of the equipment, like those baby blue Focal? speakers and the red focals? and the big white boxes - are they subwoofers? The beautiful valve amp between the white woofers, the Macintosh stuff, etc, etc.

Drool.

Jip, and a wife that will not mind it when you roll out that money  ;D I'm definitely going to pop in by him when his stock of LP's arrive and planning to get some of the Kimber Speaker cable. Got my one on the Classe CP500 to.

I believe they are making their own speaker cables if I remember correctly from my last visit there.

I'm assuming you want to be put on the Hi-Fi Club's mailing list?  If so, its already done

Edit:   I assume it is Gmail.com.  co.za does not exist
