The August club meeting is at AV Specialists in Stikland on Thursday week at 7.30 for 7.45pm.  Not a very easy place to find if you are not familiar with the area.

To get a newsletter and join the mailing list, send an email to:  capetownhificlub@gmail.com.  There is a map and directions on page 2

The mailing list is free, membership is R 100,00 per year ( R50 to the end of 2014)

Stikland is one of Cape Town's premier suburbs.  Apart from being the most select of industrial areas beyond the boerewors curtain, it contains such gems as the largest Cash Converters in the Western Cape.  Added to this is the SAPS car pound where thousands of select vehicles go to rest, most involuntarily.  Then, as Timbaland advised, is the psychiatric hospital, a touch below that of Valkenberg, which had such illustrious visitors as Shrein Diwani, who paid to have his brand new wife bumped off in 2010

So, rest assured, do not linger at traffic lights, beware of the R300 close to the Stellenbosch Arterial Road (near Belhar).  The music will be superb
