  • Cape Town Hi-Fi Club - we're getting better sound
The Cape Town Hi-Fi Club's new twins arrive
« Reply #270 on: May 24, 2014, 04:04:21 PM »
Freshly adopted from the Trading Station in Main Road Plumstead are Arthur and Martha, a pair of Mission 700 bookshelf speakers.  They came with 600mm high stands.  There is a woven kevlar bass/mid and a soft dome tweeter with forward facing ports

This is what we will be listening with at meetings in the absence of different units.

Thanks to KK for a very good price and for sourcing speakers in immaculate condition

You people... You know that being that far down south doesn't mean you have to turn the speakers upside down, hmm?
...Jozua is gonna murder you...

I suggest a high-noon duel; debate on cables - Dean vs Jozua.

Meeting is this evening at 8.00.  Thankfully, load shedding has come and gone, so we will be able to see and hear what we are doing.  All are most welcome
