Get there a bit early so you don't have to park a block away.  We'll start around 8.00 (Look at post # 172, the newsletter was sent out the same day)

Sorry guys, I won't be able to make tonight.   :-[  I was planning in coming through from Strand to perv on Rodney's setup, but the wife asked me to help her out with something.  I suppose I need to score some brownie points.  I will collect later.  :rubhands:

Rodney BTW, why aren't you replying on my PM?

Tonight's meeting was stunning for me. Personally I have never heard Rodney's system sound so good.

And I am very pleased to know that the Mini DSP can sound so good !!

Many thanks Rodney.

Thanks to everybody who brought eats.  With all the left-overs the Plattekloof bergies are already praying for a follow-up meeting !

When you see members get up from their sick beds to attend an audio meeting, you sommer know the club is on the right track....

We are still looking for an amp and a set of speakers for the club.  Any donations will be appreciated.

I did a double take upon entry....we had a lady member in attendance and she built her own power amps and Goodmans Triaxiom enclosures...Dean proposed,Chris acted like a jilted boyfriend,Anthony had visions of a front page cover story for "Popular Mechanics",Jozua sucked on a lolly in a provocative manner whilst winking in her general direction,Jason shook off frailty and became Manley,Jacques forgot he'd chosen an alternative route, the eggcitement was palpable....I left with Joy!What a woman...thanks for having us Rodney:)

Now I'm really bleak I decided to work late.
Someone was trying to tell me that CDs are better than vinyl because they don't have any surface noise. I said, "Listen mate, LIFE has surface noise" - John Peel

In the centre picture in post # 199, Andre's eyes light up as he walks in and sees Joy sitting on the couch.  You can just see the smile getting broader
