Having one of those days.

Practicals with students started well, the chaos that accompanied the first day of pracs has been replaced by students actually reading the manuals and working out what they need to do.

Then of course, one unit the temperature monitor selector probe breaks (12 temperatures need to be monitored so only reading one isn't much use), two DP cells on one rig die and one on another, then two more on the other.  Half an hour later, everything back up and running again.........so far
Are you waiting for loneliness to paralyse? Are you waiting for sister midnight to anaesthetise?

Finishing off with work for the day, then back home in the bush. Then off to my home in the bushveld. Reckon I will top it off with some take-out, a couple brandy's and continue watching Westworld

Leave. Bugger them.

I have a strict rule - if I wait more than 15 minutes & you are not there - be you client, supplier, prospective client, whoever, I leave. Everyone has a mobile phone & can call to let me know if they are running late.

If you have so little respect for me & my time then I reciprocate. Bye bye.

I usually do the same, but the meeting was called by a very high-up in the company (my boss' boss).  I waited, but eventually they all arrived :D

Needed some dowels, and remembered the old lathe i have (but in pieces).
For the stand I cut some construction 2 x 3 pine to 10 degrees, and with a 20mm scaffolding plank later,we now have another lathe + some sweet dowels.Gave it a final stain during the night ,and put it into its new spot.Super heavy!
