It seems that the prices are becoming very high for NOS and original used valves.
Just look at the prices on ebay for e.g. Telefunken E88CC, Mullard EL84 and GEC KT66.
It is also a fact that manufacturing and quality control of these original valves was of a very high standard. This may be the reason for the high prices.
