I have a standard, non-hd, non-pvr compact DSTV decoder, which I bough to watch the rugby with. We do not watch a lot of television and I do not want to invest now in a PVR or HD model.
The problem I have is that the volume does not stay constant accross channels. For instance, I'd watch one channel at low volumes while my girlfriend is sleeping on the couch next to me, change the channel and the volume would be at 80% in full surround sound.
I've checked the DSTV website and their forum (a little useless, I might add), and cannot find anything. Anyone heard of this, or had this happen to them? Is there a way to 'hard reset' the decoder?
