Lanties Ubuntu 13.04 Audio Distro for Wandboard Quad 13 November 2013

I have decided to release my distro.  I believe with the help from fellow forum members it could be a great audio distro sooner rather than later. This currently still requires Linux skills to work with.

Objectives of this distro:
1. To be as small as possible but with all the basics to be able to add to it.
2. Ubuntu 13.04 - Done
3. No graphical or desktop interface. Please do not ask for this to be added.  - Done
4. Support for Squeezelite  - Done
5. Support for LMS
6. Support for wireless networking - Done
7. Support for Samba
8. Support for NFS
9. Support for SSH - Done
10. Web interface for easy configuration. ( No Linux skills required)
11. Support for package management with APT - Done
12. Support for NTP - Done

Images
1. There are two images. A 4 Gb image and an 8 Gb image. The file system will not auto expand to bigger sd cards.
2. You can download them here:  https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ksjgjmbahkzps71/x-dSrITxTT
3. There is a list of all the packages currently installed in the dropbox folder.

To install
1. Unzip image and copy to correct size micro sd card with Win32DiskImager.exe
2. Insert sd card into correct slot on Wandboard.
3. Connect null cable and open session to com port with something like putty.
4. Turn on power to Wandboard and watch bootup process.
5. It may appear to be stuck on connecting to Plymouth. Just wait it will eventually time out.
6. Login with lanties and password lanties123. (Change the password please)
7. Squeezelite should be running and you should see it appear on your existing LMS server within a minute or two. (Superdoeper is the default name)
8. The web configuration should be running on port  1080.

Network details
1. Wireless not configured but supported
2. Wired is configured for DHCP but there is also a network alias running on 10.10.10.10
3. I strongly recommend that you also have a null cable connected to the serial interface to monitor start-up etc. Do not ask for support if you do not have a working null cable.
4. Please note  that /etc/network/interfaces will be overwritten by the web interface if you click apply

Web Interface
1. This is still very much untested and rather raw but it is there to get an idea where I am going with this.
2. Running on port 1080
3. Installed path is /opt/lanties/magicsqueeze/
4. Have a look at the scripts directory. I will appreciated some feedback and modifications

Outstanding
1. NFS packages ? Should be able to install this with apt-get
2. Samba packages ? Should be able to install this with apt-get
3. LMS packages -  I must figure out what the issues are with Perl versions
4. Web interface ? Lots of work still needs to be done on this.

Updates
9. Will be released as full images.

Squeezelite
1. It is a single executable in /usr/bin
2. It will automatically start at startup.
3. To stop type in sudo /etc/init.d/squeezelite stop
4. To start type in sudo /etc/init.d/squeezelite start
5. Please note this script will be overwritten from the web interface if you click apply.
