Amongst all the snake oil, intimidating technobabble and ruthless advertising two questions I've been wanting to ask this forum for a while now:
- On average, how many hours a week do you actually use your hardware and listen to music?
- What is your preferred music-listening environment ( special chair, headphones, lying in bed, car etc.) ?
For myself the answers are depressing as I barely manage 3-4 hours a week. The hopeless task of trying to balance the needs of sleeping children and amplifiers starved for volume seems to be the limiting factor.
Favourite listening environment - for the abovementioned reason quite often my Sennheiser 650's, but ultimately in my "listening "chair with a glass of the red stuff and the lights turned down.
