Acoustic measurement / loudspeaker design hardware
« on: April 24, 2009, 03:29:48 PM »
I'm selling some of my acoustic measurement equipment. This bundle is ideal for use with SoundEasy or LspDCAD Pro loudspeaker design software. Reason: I'm getting a calibrated ECM8000 microphone, and also now have the M-Audio Firewire 410 which has a built-in mic preamp.

For Sale:

M-Audio Delta 410 4-in/10-out 24-bit/96kHz sound card
Behringer ECM8000 microphone
Custom-built microphone preamplifier

R1200

Cape Town

The balanced mic amplifier features the Burr-Brown INA163 low noise, low distortion instrumentation amplifier. The preamplifier has switchable 48VDC phantom power and adjustable gain. It also has a DC servo circuit element based on theTL071 low-noise JFET op amp for precise DC offset control/calibration.

The Behringer ECM8000 microphone comes in its original packaging and includes a wind shield (unused) and mic stand adaptor. I have been using a light weight mini boom that can be fitted to a camera tripod to make a microphone stand. If you collect you can have this (will be a bit awkward to mail). I will generate a "soft" calibration file for the mic based on my own new mic using the substitution method.

I can't make this a better deal without giving it away (!) so please understand: price is not negotioable (feel free to check market prices). I will consider swap-outs for WHY, though.

I'll keep this ad here for a week before posting elsewhere.

Pics to follow.

Hehe! You snooze...

About the KEF drivers: do you have pics? I can't think why I did not ask to see them when I was there...
