Hi All,

I have an extensive CD collection and its growing by the day, after much reading on the net I am deciding to go the digital route. I currently have some of my CD's ripped on Itune's in Apple Lossless on my iMac but the plan is to now get a NAS for all the music storage and then stream it via device like Cambridge Audio Stream Magic6 or something else, haven't yet decided as it will be a couple months project as it budget dependent. I am leaning towards the CA SM6.

I have the following questions.

1. I am able to get quite a few different types of NAS up here, some of them as follows, Netgear ReadyNAS, QNAP Turbo, Iomega Media Centre. Anyone has experience with these and recommendation for a decent NAS?
2. What do you use for ripping of your files into FLAC, there is a few I have seen, Winamp, dbpoweramp, EAC? Any recommendations?
3. How do you structure the files with tags/album art etc on the NAS server?

Thanks
