I have decided to haul six Garrard 301 turntables out of storage in order to start with the restore/repair process. Not one of them was even switched on (maybe one, I think), before the cleaning process.
It is going to be a very long process as some of them need really more maintenance (as well as spares) and repair tasks.
I have asked Darryl to please post the pictures of it.
The first picture is of the turntables before the first cleaning process started.
The second picture is of the turntables after the first cleaning process that lasted a full day and some sore hands.
These 301's are not for sale.
