Genelex Golden Lion E88CC/6922

yesterday i received my matched pair of golden lion E88cc (6922) but they are a bit special in so far that they are cryogenicly treated. one might have various viewpoint about this but i do not have the ways to prove it is better without a direct comparison.

what i can say is that i put them into the dulcet yesterday and immediately i heard a improvement over my NOS philips E188cc, they are a lot better than my stock EH 6922 and also way better than my Siemens E88CC or my mullard E88CC. i also tried them in my DAC and again a very good improvement.

its got a very rich tone with a lot of micro detail. (might i say even better than my CCa, that says a lot)

so finally we have a modern tube that will compete or even better the NOS tubes and we do not have to rely on EH 6922 any more.
