From what I can make out 6.3v was selected because its the mid point between 6 and 6.5v (well technically 6.25 is the mid point, but 6.25 is 6.3v if you see what I mean!) ... and anything from 6 to 6.5v should be fine for a 6.3v filament

too high or two low is not good.
