curious squeezebox issue

I bought pink floyd's the wall experience edition a 3 CD set. i rip with dbpoweramp to both flac and mp3. yet for this CD set LMS reports both copies mp3 and flac, as being part of the same album hence i have two of every song under pink floyd's the wall? all my other CDs come up as being two albums. I tried ripping only to flac then rescanning the library then adding the mp3 version....but on rescan once again the two copies are seen as one album? have tried deleting the library and rescanning from start no go. anyone have any clues?
