The Onkyo NR818 is a high performance AV receiver that includes the flagship Audyssey Mult EQ XT32 which is, in my experience, a must-have feature for improving the sound quality in any system. Sadly the new Onkyo NR828 does not include XT32 but an older, less sophisticated version (Mult EQ). If you want the top-end XT32 in the new Onkyo range you must pony up R25990 for the new Onkyo NR-929.
