I'm thinking of adding a acrylic platter on top of a lenco platter, using the lenco's spindle to centre it and then adding another inside the acrylic to centre the lp so it's completely isolated from the bearing except for the acrylic. Does anyone know where to start looking for someone to manufacture this? Will perspex be much different, and what thickness is recommended? Colour not crucial, maybe have it sandblasted?
