I bought music downloads for the first time through iTunes last night. Much cheaper than what it would cost at the music shops. I doubt that even downloading costs will bring the cost close to what I would pay for the cds. I downloaded at 325mbps and it sounds pretty good.
The downside is that all cds that you get as imports from the cd shops is not on itunes.
