Re: Beyerdynamic DT880 Pro 250 for sale

Mine is not the pro version and the box claims them to be "Premium" and the impedance is cited as "30 Ohm/250 Ohm/600 Ohm" with no indication on the phones themselves what the actual impedance is, but the sound is really, really good, so the price asked here make these fantastic value for money, and that's a fact.

Yours are the Premium version, for home use rather than studio.
Premium has different headband covering, less clamp and a nice "DT880" plate on the housing.
Both versions share identical drivers and internal construction and thus they sound EXACTLY the same.

Beyer marks the impedance on the jack, except for 250 ohm versions that have no marking.

No marking on mine, which means 250 ohm then. Shall remember that henceforth. They do seem less efficient than my old Koss HV/1s, which is to be expected.

Little Dot 1+ headphone amplifier

A lot of fun for the money. It's a hybrid with tube input stage (voltage follower) followed by an op amp gain stage and a push pull bipolar driver stage.
The circuitry you get for the money is pretty impressive, and lots of opportunity for tube and op amp rolling.

I've not heard one, but I have a LD MKll and I love the thing.
