'Supersonic' transistor portable radio
« on: January 26, 2013, 10:41:38 PM »
A contact/friend overseas has asked me if I can source for him a  Supersonic model PR80 battery portable radio, circa 1965, made in S.A or Rhodesia.
If anyone has a complete one, he is willing to pay quite a substantial amount for it.

Just out of curiosity, why that particular model? I'll keep my eyes open.

There is a rumour that part of it was gutted for a particular guitar effect unit.

That's certainly different. Will see what I can find for him.
