Adagio...
« on: January 04, 2013, 08:45:27 AM »
"...a tempo marking indicating that music is to be played softly.......on as many pieces of equipment that can be assembled in as short a space of time as is humanly possible."
I would like to suggest that we start a support group(building equipment supports) for he who has no space to fit but a single chair in his listening room,he who cycles and canoes products from one province to another, the one who investigates more audio in a day than Big Woody does Asians.
While some misunderstand his passions others also don't understand his reasons and many can't make head or tail of it....i of course have no idea.

...a house of ill repute(such as Rodney's)is easily understood......but a house of ill Nakamichi is downright perverted.

The Nakamichi thread is like a who's who of insufferable self torture promoters, fighting and faffing over aaa cell, acid corroded remotes,110volt amps that they forgot to remember were(until the big kapoof),"Worlds best engineered tapedecks" that can't keep a simple button attached(the okes at Yamaha are peeing in za pants over that one)...for the newbies, this forum is invaluable if you really wanna learn about where you shouldn't end up! :whistler:

Geesh, here's enough motivation to stay off Kent's radar.

Gert,do we have any mods that perform "Interventions" down here in Cape Town?I have very real concerns for The one who is building an orchestra in his house in Stellenbosch using a piece of equipment to replace every human in the soundstage.Perhaps Shonver and BWS could pay Monsignor "Dibs" a surprise visit and give him a stiff talking to?I cant just sit by and watch as another young man falls prey to the aural disease that is destroying our fabric.I sincerely hope that someone will assist and get this fine young man the ass istance he is silently begging for.Yours truly Andre.

Sorry Barbiekent. Shonver went AWOL and BWS cant be trusted with anything more complex than a paperclip. So no, theres no chance for intervention in CT from the mod front. In fact, you highlighted a pretty big gap in the mod team presence in the CT region. Someone needs to represent!
