Has anyone ever heard and liked this valve in an audio application? I've listened to a homebrew parallel PP amp and the Heath W6 (think that was it maybe?) and the tube just sounded loud to me.
I'm thinking about chalange, a project using this tube in Class A or PP and trying to get it sounding good. Anyway, I have a lot of them.
Any previous audio experience with this tube would be appreciated. I know another transmitting tube, the 807 pentode, can sound wonderful when used correctly.
