Thanks for posting this - am even inclined to make this a sticky.
I have the original Bateman series, which is the best on the subject I have encountered. It is essential to be read and minded. Not unexpectedly he got some flack from stern golden ears (but support again from other golden ears!). On the way it also punched a few holes in the boutique capacitor rhetoric. (I did not read through all the replies at this time.)
I would urge everybody to print this and refer thence in future. As he said in the original series, those represented a fraction of the many hundreds of tests done; I wish the complete tests could be available. (I am not sure whether a book might be available.)
