Creative Sound Blaster SB1095

Hi

I am looking for some advice
I recently purchased this usb sound card, and wow what a awesome little device. Has a optical out to the yamaha in my study and the sound is great
playing flac in winamp
My only problem and i really hope somebody can help as the responce from creative support has not been great
every once in a while when i want to go into the creative controle panel to change settings it will tell me no device is installed for this software
i reboot my pc and all default settings are then back but at least i can change them

This is quite annoying as this is also my media streaming PC and i really dont like rebooting it every second day just to use my sound card

Also usually when this happens i no longer get a digital feed to my amp

if anybody has any suggestions or had a similar problem maybe any advice would be greatly appreciated

i have the latest software and drivers on, tried using old driver still same problem
