This is something that i noted when visiting friend and people.
1.You walk into his hifi room and the guy have a nice basic system (say R20000). With more cd's and vinyl than musica. Ask him to play something and he pulls it out and play it for you.
2. You walk in and this mother of a system pulling eskom dry.. And the guy who sold it to him is on pension on a island. But his got only 100lp/cd's. The best pressing... Ask the guy play me this and he answer you: " that is nice
But the recording is bad. So i dont keep it"
For me it is more about the music than the system.
