I have a plastic-covered (whatever brand of plastic) lead/cable feeding through a suitable rubber grommet into a chassis. One seems to get some kind of surface adhesive, that will set quite solid (more so that the Pliobond variety), fixing the cable so that turning-in/pulling-out of said grommet is rather impossible. (To release it one has to insert a thin screwdriver and do a quite robust wriggling to eventually dislodge the cable from the grommet.)

Before I go shop-hopping, anybody who can give some advice on what to look for?

Thanks!
