Hi -

I have bi-wired my JPW's and yes it definately makes the mids and highs more prominent(but not bright though). Just to make sure, I then again connected the speakers using my original 20year old thick Jumbo cables and yes, again I could hear a difference - the stereo imaging wasn't as exciting. My HF cable is R7/m el-cheapo cable, since I did not want to splash out money in case it didn't make a difference.

I know there is a lot of contraversy regarding bi-wiring and I suppose it depends on the system components used whether it would make a difference or not.

On a different topic; I have faced my JPW's outwards and to my surprise it doesn't affect the stereo imaging. Some sounds seem to reflect around the room making the imaging quite exciting.

Again, I suppose this may be speaker dependant since some are quite fussy regarding off-axis positioning.
