Thought I'd stir a little

Everyone on this forum anyway complains about compressed (either digitally or dynamically) music, But vinyl has always been a compressed format, that's what the RIAA curve is for.

Music is dynamically compressed to keep groove size, etc., manageable for a little tip to trace.

If your expander (phono stage) doesn't follow RIAA absolutely 100% you dont get to hear the real music. Same thing happens if the compressor isn't 100% either.

Waits for CS to swing then ducks and runs :)
