Anyone tried running a boblight setup with XBMC? I'm thinking of trying this out and would love your input.

Above website has a pretty straight forward DIY recipe. As far as hardware is concerned looks like I will need :
Arduino (200 bucks from RS)
5V PSU (got)
USB cable (got)
additional wiring and tape (got)
RGB LED Pixel Strip (battling to find locally)
So my only holdup is the strand of pixels. 40 dollahs cost price to import the below
