I thought I just share my experience as I am big fan of their music for superb sound quality and very direct, lifelike recording. My favorite is Make it Rain by Keith Greenniger and Dayan Kai: http://keithdayan.downloadsnow.net/ , their interpretation of old American protest song ?Crow on the Cradle? and traditional ?Bid you Goodnight? bring tears to my eyes, it is so seriously good. I don?t know any other high res music website offering full song preview, not shitty 20 or 30 seconds like most. There is quite a lot to choose from at affiliated website downloadsnow.net:  bluegrass, country rock, different flavors of jazz and more.  And Emily Palen http://valencerecords.downloadsnow.net/glass, playing solo violin in San Francisco Grace Cathedral, another favorite. Not a classical but incredible violin, enriched by church ambience?
Cookie Marenco, site owner and recording engineer, implements ESE technique which uses very little post processing and manipulation to captured music. She is also great DSD/SACD advocate. I am also DSD fan and have few of their quite large collection of pure DSD high resolution downloads. Of note: Every Playstation 3 can play DSD download recorded to DVD-R disc: http://www.ps3sacd.com/dsddiscguide.html
Not affiliated in any way to Bluecoast records, just big fan and happy customer.
