Picture the scene at bedtime:
Wife has very carefully created a "kitty-nest" out of a basket, lined with fleecy mini-blanket laid carefully over a fresh hotwater bottle and with a winter sheet folded and draped over the top to keep out the cold.
Enter Bill-the-Burmese...
Does he get into this nice snug little snoozing place? Not on your nelly! Makes a bee-line for the space between us and wants to get under the duvet....
Wife decides that this is not on and tries to coax Bill into the basket:
- See the lovely fleecy blanket
- Feel the lovely and warm hotwater bottle
- See the way the basket curls around to protect you
- See the nice winter sheet draped to keep out the cold
Me? I just couldn't keep my damned mouth shut:
- See the nice shiny red apple....
Now, where did I hide that spare hotwater bottle.....
