I'm about to send this off, but I've never personally used all the functions.  A Thule PA250 B Power Amp.  I understand that there is a switch on the front panel which allows one to use either it in either a 2 channel or 5 channel mode.  The amp has 2 channel inputs via rca or via balanced connections.  It has a separate set of inputs taking a 5 inputs via rca's.  There are 5 speaker terminals.  I tried connecting the outputs of my onkyo txnr 808 to the 2 channel rca inputs on the power amp, but even if I push the 2 channel button on the front, there is no signal.  If i connect the outputs to the left and right main speaker inputs in the 5 channel input section there is sound.  Anyone know why I can't get sound from the 2 channel input section?

The amp is rated as
5 x 100 watt into 8 ohms
2 x 250 watts into 8 ohms
5 x 150 watts into 4 ohms
2 x 380 watts into 4 ohms

How do I get 2 x 250 watts?  Does the amp output this automatically when it does not detect signals from the other 3 inputs?
