My internet at work is via ADSL and at home it's via iBurst. The past 2 weeks I have noticed a drastic decline in response time on both ISPs - everything is a lot slower. Coupled to this I have also noticed that paypoint purchases with either your debit or credit cards are also not fuctioning up to speed - transactions have to be redone as the first attempt failed (timed out).
Is this a prelude to a major internet meltdown? I think so.
To add to the paypoint transactions, after failure of the first attempt we discovered later that transactions did go through meaning double payments have occured. Also, EFT payments via internet banking is also suspect. First time shows that the apyment was unsucessful and after redoing the payment (sucessfully) our account showed double payments.
