Registration process changes
« on: March 04, 2008, 09:51:28 PM »
Due to some recent problems with spammers, please be advised that all new users signing up will have to be manually approved before they are able to post. The site admins receive an instant email notification of new users and will make every effort to check and activate new registrations as quickly as possible. To further speed up the process please drop an email here.

PS. Nope, we've not been hacked. Some lamer just managed to post a new topic on the site announcement board due to a misconfiguration. That has now been rectified ;)

Update 26/06/2008: Account activations are no longer required! I haven't seen any spammer sign ups in a while now so I have returned the registration to its previous mode. An image verification step is required, as well as email address confirmation, but aside from that new accounts will not require administrator approval. Please get in touch with me should you experience difficulties.
