Great stuff. What a surprise this morning :D Thought I was still babbelaas.

How about some paid-for ads to lighten the burden?

Thumbs up, Kay!! The new look is great, but please explain to an ignorant sod like me what the icons karma, smite and applaud do/mean (not in the philosophical or biblical sense, mind you ;D).

Applaud/smite is like giving a post the thumbs up/down. Over time, this accumulates against the poster - the karma stats simply reflect the stats for that member. So it's like user-voted reputation on the forum and allows newbies to see which members are considered helpful by the community.

I've been thinking about doing something that won't upset anyone. TBH, I'd rather keep it ad-free but accept sponsorship of certain areas or something along those lines. I definitely do not want flashy banner ads or anything of the sort.

The new look is great! Very much easier on the eyes, and - what? No longer 80+ spammers attempting to sing up every day? GREAT STUFF!  ;D  ;D

There's been only two registrations that came through for approval since the upgrade, and both were legit members :o

Amazing. Funnily enough, the spammer registrations spiked with 400% in June and have since doubled again after that. If I didn't know any better, I could swear that we've been targeted for some reason. It's either that, or the Captcha we were using at the time was defeated.

Generally looks great! Only thing I don't like is the "started by......." under the thread titles - makes it difficult to read - preferred when they were in separate columns. Just my 5c! Doogle

I agree

The little window that pops up for the spelling check is lots better, on my side it would cut off the bottom half of the buttons, is right now :) , and in the post reply if you had a long winded reply it would keep on scrolling to the top, seems right now too

Great stuff ;)

Only thing I noticed while using my BB is that the "Jump to" shortcut doesn't show all the other sub-sections, it only shows the one u currently in eg "General Discussion"
I'm using Opera mini
It did work properly on previous version of the website

Thanx
The problem with reality, is the lack of background music ;D
