SMF 2 forum software upgrade / new look

The forum will go down shortly for a software update - once downtime begins, regular service will resume in 15 minutes or so :)

Nice one

The past, the present and the future walk into a bar. It was tense.  :nutter:

Main improvement we've been looking forward to is increased registration security to ease the load on the administrators, for an overview see the original SMF 2.0 announcement.

With regards to the look in particular, I would still like to customise the appearance a little bit. Functionality first though :)

+1 easy on the eye.

Generally looks great! Only thing I don't like is the "started by......." under the thread titles - makes it difficult to read - preferred when they were in separate columns. Just my 5c! Doogle

Noted :) This is just the default SMF 2.x theme, when I finally get around to hiring a designer to personalise ours a bit we can consider changing it.
