Just checking if here is any one interested...
I am on the trail again to do a DIY MC phono-stage. This time round I have found a very nice circuit (solid-state) through a friend.
It uses TO550 & TO560 transistors in groups of eight.
I would like to know if here is any other DIY techies that would like to do the project aswell. This will allow us to do a bulk order of professionally made PCB's as opposed to veroboard or heaven knows what.
The pre-amp can be run from a dual set of 12vdc alarm batteries - it has got on-board voltage regulation.
DC coupled.
Can accomodate MM cartridges as well.
I want to mod the circuit just a tad so that we can use high-spec components like audio-grade caps and Vishay resistors etc.
Overall cost will be low for a high-performance phono-stage.
Let me know via my e-mail or post here.
