A FreeMe supporter on his way to work in Sandton CBD this morning saw a lapwing pair running back and forth across a main road. When he got closer, he realised they were trying to shepherd a chick through rush hour traffic - so he stopped the cars (with some difficulty), grabbed the chick and carried it over the road, snapped a quick picture before handing it over to the frantic parents, and continued on to a long day at work as a lawyer....
