Mede8er's funny decision and local buying

I for one is somebody that is currently buying more and more things from overseas. Computer cases, laptops you name. Now most of you know why as it mostly has got to do with price and often service. Now mede8er or sanji which is a SA company has made this strange decision to give the EU a wider range of their players. They are giving them the 500x2, 450x2 and 400x2. The thing is that SA won't get the 400x2 that is selling in Europe for ?109 or about R1,200 which was the price of the old 400x. So our entry level price is going to be  R 2,000 for the 450x2. Now you all know I'm a big fan of the mede8er players and always punt them for people. So where to now! Stop supporting another local company? Asus and AC Ryan has also got very nice players. Any opinions about their decision.
