Got this while the missus was clothes shopping ;D ;D
For Katie fans this will be a no-brainer but she may be starting to attract new listeners (my wife is one already) with a more matured more refined release.
This is not to say her previous releases were juvenile or anything like that but this collection of tracks definately shows here in a new light with a very polished and highly enjoyable album. The first single is IMO her best yet (if you were a sailboat) but there is not a single track that didn't have me wanting to repeat it immediately.
There seems to be an 'ex boyfriend who broke my heart' theme but its not being thrust on you in the way that say Alanis Morissette does (she shouts anyway, doesn't sing ;D ), instead the theme is put across in a subtle amicable way that is a shift from your typical angry scorned woman syndrome your hear all to often.
Highly recommended !!
