You know what? I have so far tried to watch the Audio Couple's YouTube videos and found it painful. I was determined to watch this entire one and something happened; Suddenly I thought, this is YouTube, this is just a guy like you and I sharing his passion. Sure, not Jay Leno or even the Professor of Rock. Someone who does something, not just criticise. Technically the videos are really good, maybe that is why the interviewer is the next target? If those were wobbly phone videos, they are no worse than a bazillion other "unboxings" and other nonsense. The heavy Afrikaans accent may even be charming. All it really needs is someone with a pair of scissors to edit out repeats and "u knows" and it will be great( Where is Waterhond when we need him?) I sort of thought he said there was going to be an interview with Sonor. Maybe at a later stage, you know? Schalk, I know, would have refused. You know, I begged him to do the CT hifi club and it stayed "No" followed by 1001 excuses. And you know what? I wished I could buy each and every one of those products. All of the guys exuded a passion, a real love of what they are doing. They are people just like me, except they have skills and knowledge they want to share. Everyone seemed a bit like a rabbit in the spotlight. Maybe Nimrod's own insecurities rubbed off on them? Maybe that is why the Cape Town Club's interviews tend to be so relaxing? There is a master of the art at the wheel there you know.
