.......on a serious note.... why is it so f.... difficult in this country to push for a constructive and open debate. I would love to see our local made products out there in the world - thats where the market is. So far I havent seen many which changed the market and its rules and demands - but I ve seen so many who thought they can - and they dissapeared. You only get better if someone tells you that you are not perfect yet....and why. So I dont want to come across as a miserable competitor... but if South African manufacturas want to be seen and get sold in shops as in Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam, Kopenhavn, Oslo, Singapur, Moscow, Warsaw, Tokyo etc etc.... they have to understand the market. If that isnt their goal - I pull back and apologize - but still ask yourself what aspects made someone buy your product? Who today can afford to come on the market with a kind of DIY product? And again....I know plenty "well reputated" brands" (which many of you like) - the Imperiors new clothes.... beautyful, bold, extravagant AND PERFECT from the outside...and poorly and cheap done in the inside. The impulse to buy is not what someone hears, it what he/she sees -and ve read about it. And because globally the amount of fools is large enough...there will be many who will tell her/him "its the best" - and if many fools say often enough its the best.....there will be more fooled out there. Make it better! If you have a great product - show it! You have no talent for nice design or details - get someone who has!
