I have paired 2x Linn Sizmik 10.25 10" 500W RMS subs with my FS-150s in a 7x11m room. Amazing subs, and beautiful tight controlled bass. But sadly terribly inadequate at keeping up with the FS-150s at higher volumes especially in such a big room. They cope much better with bass in movies than music in my environment, even though they are designed to be for music rather than home theater. I think you have an environment that is well suited to multiple subs, and I see Polk, Jamo and Klipsch 12" subs available from @Vaughan for prices that would fit into your budget for a pair. I would be very interested in the opinions of other members on the topic as you have an amazing pair of very musical speakers that really hold their own in home theater but could benefit from quality subs as well. I have not bought any of the mentioned brands entry-level subs because I would certainly have to hear them paired with FS-150s in a large space first. I suspect they may all be too light-weight for FS-150s. Please let us know what receiver you are using as well, as I have found the FS-150 really comes to life with a decent bit of power behind it.
