sequence of switching on/ off

Good day

I bought a Predator from RS4, very happy. I asked related question to Scalk before, but he is strictly vinyl or CD to amp. My set up: Stream from laptop, m-dac dac, Predator, Thiel speakers.
Manual for m-dac: first switch off amp, then dac.
My problem is that I frequently switch between headphones (connected to dac) and speakers, and I don't want to switch off amp unnecessary. I do think it is better to switch off dac before plugging headphones in/ out.
